Suggest Remedy For Spasms In Leg

I am a 43 yr female with diabetes. I have spasms in my right thigh and pain in my buttocks radiating down my leg. My dr. Diagnosed it as a mild slipped disc and sciatica compression. I took traction for a couple of months. Now do a set of exercises and take neurobion plus once a day. What else can I do. I have a sales job and have to walk a lot.

A mild slipped disc needs rest to rectify and regenerate. Physiotherapy and back strengthening exercises may help but eventually rest with a proper diet will help you recover fast. You should consider taking a sabbatical otherwise if it progresses then we are looking towards more radical approaches like surgery. Yes, pain killers may help you initially but they cannot be used over a long period of time.
