Suggest Remedy For Sores On Ear Lobe

My daughter had her earrings in too tight and it made the earlobes bleed.I was able to take them out.what should I do next? I cleaned the earlobes with povidine-iodine solution but what can I do to prevent infection and also prevent the hole from closing?

Thanks for using HCM, I understand your concern and will try to give you my medical advice, I think you did the right thing, iodine is a good disinfectant just try to disinfect her earlobes 3 times/ day ( including the earrings) you can use hydrogen peroxide too about her earrings she needs to keep using them is the only way to avoid the holes close just try to use gold, silver or surgical materials earrings those are really good improving the healing process.
