Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat Fever & Loss Of Appetite

Hi I am a 24 year old female. I started 4 days ago with a severe sore throat, high fever, teeth chattering chills, headache, terrible body aches and loss of apetite. My doctor prescribed me an antibiotic and pain medicine. Everything haas gotten worse over the last couple days. Continued fever with chills and my tonsils are swollen with pus and canker sores all in the back of my throat. I've been to the emergency room twice and nobody really has answers. In lots of pain please help

Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having infection of your tonsil. If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines for 5 to 7 days.
If symptoms are getting worse not responding for oral medicines ,then you need admission and intravenous antibiotics and blood work for 5 days.
Please consult with your ent doctor as early as possible. Do not neglect.
