Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat, Cough, Stuffy Nose And Headache

I had strep throat three weeks ago. While taking the antibiotic, I developed a small cold. It went away, but 3 days after finishing my antibiotic, I got another sore throat (a week ago). This sore throat felt better after 3 days, but developed a bad cough and lost my voice. Yesterday, developed stuffy nose, sneezing, headachy. Do I need to see a doctor? Voice is better, but still coughing in addition to the above symptoms.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to cold.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation .
I also suggest using a saline nasal spray to relieve the nose congestion.
I recommend to rest and drink liquids.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
