Suggest Remedy For Sore Ears Post A Hit On Eardrum

I hit my eardrum yesterday and it hurt a lot, no loss of hearing or blood but sharp pain. the pain eventually receded and I was fine until today, approximately 24 hours later my ear is very sore; at first I thought it was my jaw on that side but now i know it s my ear. how can i soothe the pain?

I think you might have ruptured your way drum, the symptoms are suggestive of it.
As you have the symptoms of a ruptured eardrum, I advice you to see doctor for otoscopic exam.there is a hole or tear in the eardrum, the doctor will be able to see it.
Typically, no specific treatment is needed for a ruptured eardrum; the vast majority of ruptured eardrums heal within three months. Your doctor may prescribe an antibiotic -- either oral or in the form of eardrops -- to prevent an ear infection or treat an existing infection.
