Hello Doctor, i am working in MNC company , recently they put in to night shifts for a week but when i do the night shift i am getting problems like next day i cant able to sleep and i get cold my nose is running ,i am sinus patient hence i am requesting please suggest me to get rid of this problem
As per your complain it seems that you have a flaref up sinus infection and fluid accumulation in sinus secondary to infection and inflammation in sinus is causing congestion and fluid discharge from nose..
You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and if infection is diagnosed he can advise you to take antibiotics like Levofloxacin or Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestant nasal spray and Oral Medication like phenylephrine, saline nasal irrigation, Steroid nasal spray and steam inhalation.. Do not expose to excessive cold and air conditioning.. While lying down keep your head slightly elevated to ease the nasal drainage..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
