Suggest Remedy For Sharp Pain In Rib Cage During Coughing
Im having a sharp pain on my leftr rib cage whenever i cough. I already consulted a dr bcoz of my cough and was given rubitussin. But the cough persisted but there is no much pleghm.now, i experience this pain in my left rib cage whenever i couch, Thanks.

You are having pain in the left rib cage whenever there is cough ,but you didn't mention the duration for the cough .
If this pain and cough is > 20 days then may be due to consolidation ( collapse of part of lung ), pleural effusion or thickened pleaura .

Well come to HCM
because of coughing such rib pain is often common and this may be due to muscular spasm because of the force that is being exerted during coughing and this can be well manage with Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day, no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day have a nice day.
