Suggest Remedy For Severe Vomiting When Diagnosed With Celiacs Disease
My wife has been diagnosed with Celiacs disease for seven years now and it is severe at times. Last week, on her trip to ND. (from CO.) to see her sister, she came home apparently with food poisoning and is unable to consume any liquids or solids for two days now, going on three. Is it possible to vomit part of your stomach lining? What s it look like? Does it grow back? Is her health in danger? She does seem to be getting better today.
It is not possible to vomit the stomach lining, but she may cause erosion of the stomach lining (mucosa) and ulcerations. If her situation does not improve or she has bleeding during vomiting, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and performing a fibro-gastroscopy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
