Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Tailbone Area

I have pain in my tailbone area, I have had this pain for about 6 months now, it has gotten better over time but is still there, I started feeling severe pain after cutting wood all day with a chain saw mostly in the bent over position, I do sit all day in my job, the pain is dull burning and when I stand up is when the pain is at its worse for a moment and then subsides after standing from a sitting position.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for seeking help on your issue; I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion, you tend to suffer from coccydynea, which is the tail bone pain. One you will need an X Ray to see if you have injured your bones there, second use a ring pillow to sit, so that there is no direct pressure on the bone, third try lying down on sides rather than straight. take some analgesics like diclofenac tablet 100mg SR once daily for a period of about 2week. if you still find no relief consult your ortho doctor.
I hope I have been able to provide you with a satisfactory solution, if you want to clear any doubts about my opinion, feel free to contact.
Special note- Any medication prescribed needs to be taken after consultation with your personal doctor only.
Thanks
Dr. Narender Saini
