Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Left Lower Side

I have terrible painin my left loer side n cannot eat a lot of food n sometimes if at it seems it takes forever to digest n then I start throwing up n getting g the runs I have very little bleeding from my rectum but I constipate a lot from my meds n iam tkeing a stool softener in liquids n also the doc is having a colonscope done n also do a scope dn my stomach to see if there is a blockage could u tell me if he is on the right resurch n what they might be looking for

Hi welcome to HCM....

Noted you have left lower side severe pain...
So here it seems to be severe colitis like infection or diverticulitis....

Stool softener can be taken....
But here antibiotic also need to be given to eliminate infection....
Meanwhile care taken not taking excess spicy and fried food....
Green leafy vegetables and fruits taken more....
Non veg food kept limited....
Avoid smoking.....and avoid alcohol if habit...

Get your stool also examined if diarrhea associated to rule out dysentery like intestinal infection....
According to which drug given like metronidazole ....

If still cause not clear and condition worsen then colonoscopy need to be done to rule out polyp and biopsy taken to send for histopathological examination to rule put microscopic colitis like condition.
