Suggest Remedy For Severe Menstrual Cramps And Heavy Bleeding
I have severe periods pain and my cycle goes for 8 days in which first 5 days are painful with heavy bleeding..I take meftal spas sometimes if it s unbearable..is there any side effects of meftal spas in conceiving as I am 34 years old and have to still plan a child..

Meftal Spas contains both dicyclomine and mefenamic acid that is used in the treatment of menstrual pain and cramps, abdominal pain or spasms. This medication is a safe and effective medication for menstrual pain and cramps, if it is taken in the dose and duration as directed by the prescribing doctor. If taken only during menstrual cycles for 3 days it has no adverse effects on pregnancy related issues. But long use of this medication might cause a serious impact on female's fertility by blocking ovulation. If someone is taking this medication daily for one month, then no effect on fertility will be seen . Again normal ovulation will start after stop taking this medication.
