Hello Sana! I am a
medical doctor specialized in Neurology and I will try to address your question.
It would have been useful if you had provided some more info on your headache, such as location, character (throbbing, pressure like etc), time of onset, duration of the episodes, accompanying symptoms such as nausea,
vomiting, sensitivity to light and sounds. Knowing whether there are other family members with such
headaches might have been useful as well as some types of headaches like
migraine have genetic features.
Based on only the current info the most probable cause is migraine, especially if the pain is throbbing, involves half of the head, with nausea or vomiting. In that case since the attacks are frequent preventive treatment is necessary, at your age I would try
propranolol.
However as I said there is a lot of information lacking to make a diagnosis so please try to write again with the info I mentioned.
