Suggest Remedy For Severe Bloating And Pain In Middle Of Chest

Every time I eat or drink ANYTHING I bloat like crazy (stomach gets as tight as a pregnancy) and I burp for hours to the point a vomit a little. This has been happening for years and at first it was kinda funny since a woman can belch loader than a man. At night I sometimes get pain above my breasts/middle of chest. What should I get my Dr. to look for?

Hello,

First, you confirm that pain is not originating from heart by ECG and echo. If it is not cardiac pain, then probably according to your symptoms cause is GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease).

So, avoid spicy food and caffeinated drinks, avoid heavy meal at night, and do regular exercise. Use tablet Nexium before breakfast for five days.

Sleep with head end elevated position and if symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
