Suggest Remedy For Severe Abdominal Pain, Sore Breast And Low Prolactin Levels

I have pituitary adenoma and am ttc. Since my prolactin has been coming down during my ovulation window my uterus feels heavy and is painful and my breast hurt until my period comes back. My uterus doesnt hurt for as long anymore maybe 2 days but my breast do. i didnt menstrate for almost ten years before i started cabergoline in february. Is this pain my body getting back to normal? Should i be able to conceive soon?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You may need to follow up with an endocrinologist and do an MRI also to measure the adenoma. Also check prolactin levels. If doctor decides to have carbegoline continue its advice. Also, surgery may be a definitive option.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
