Suggest Remedy For Runny Nose,dizziness And Chest Pain

Hi, ive been on 40 mg citalopram anti depressent for over a year now..
recently things have been hectic and i forgotton to take my tablets for about 3-4 days today ive been feeling really wired and really dizzy and feeling sick at night.. ive got runny nose and tight chest.. i then relised that i had not taken my tablets so i took one.. is that the right thing to do?? just carry on taking them as normal?? and when will these feelings go away??

i have gone through your questions and the history you have provided.
yes you did the right thing. actually you should not stop the psychiatric medications abruptly because these have withdrawal effects.
what you have mentioned are the withdrawal effects of the citalopram.
you must visit your doctor and after your psycho analysis the doctor will decide wether to tapper off the dose or continue.
what i will advice you is that visit your doctor and try some behavioural therapy. actually all these medications are part of supportive therapy. the real thing is change your life style and behaviour. start to be more social and find some good activities for your self. do not stay alone for long time.
