Suggest Remedy For Runny Nose And Swollen Feet In An Elderly Lady
I m a personal caregiver to my mother who is 80 years old. She has congestive heart failure but has been having a runny nose for the past 2 days and mild swelling in her feet for the past week now. Hospice nurse does not have answers so would like to find answers here...

in heart failure patient swelling in feet is frequent, and is mainly due to low pumping of heart. elevate the limbs by putting pillows or other object below leg. and if breathing problem found immediate consult to your doctor.
for runny nose start chlorpheniramine maleate 25 mg twicw daily for 5 days..
and continue treatment prescribed by your doctor, for congestive heart failure.
