Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain red and sore lump at the injection site occurs due to
injury to the soft tissues caused by the pricking needle and it causes inflammation of the soft tissues and
redness and lump formation are the signs of inflammation..
The lump occurs due to formation of inflammatory exudate as well as the redness and lump can also be due to pricking of the blood vessel causing spillage of blood into the soft tissues causing swelling and redness .
Soreness and warm feeling is also a sign of inflammation..
You can apply ice packs over the swelling..
Apply thrombophob gel..
For pain you can take anti inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen..
Apply numbing gel over the lump in case of pain and discomfort..
Hope this information helps..
