Suggest Remedy For Recurring Non-itchy Red Blotches On Skin

My 29 year old daughter woke up several weeks ago with red blotches on her palms of her hand butch then it disappears. It does not itch or hurt. It has since moved up her on between her wrist and elbow but says maybe 10 minutes then disappears. Could it be stress?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurring non-itchy red blotches on skin which are due to allergic reaction or body's response to external stimuli which can be a allergen. Need not to worry. You should touching or pricking blotches as it will exaggerate your symptoms. I would suggest you to try to figure out what exactly causing red blotches in your case , give cold compresses to affected area to get rid of itching. You should take benadryl to suppress allergic reaction. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order blood tests and skin patch test to confirm diagnosis. You can start with proper course of steroids after complete prescription.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
