Suggest Remedy For Recurring Fever, Throwing Up And Irritated Eyes

Hi my daughter started with fever on Tuesday night then on Wednesday she keep with fever between 104 and 99 I give her Motrin she eat and then through up but after tha she immediately asked me for an apple and an orange and she was drinking water. Today Thursday she still having fever. She eat kind of well then she played and now she is complaining about pain on her eyes and her ayes are a little irritated and watery also she have some chills

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter is having recurring fever, throwing up and irritated eyes which is of very high grade that is around 99 to 104 which could be due to bacterial or viral infection. Need not to worry about it. You can start with Meftal P 5 mg. You can give crocin syrup 5ml 4-5 times a day depending upon fever. If fever increases do tepid sponging as well with cold water. Monitor dosage for child. Use mist humidifiers in room. Visit pediatrician once if symptoms keeps on persisting. You should keep child dehydrated always. Give mild dose after every 4hrly as Meftal-p contains mefenamic acid and paracetamol.
