Suggest Remedy For Rectal Bleeding And Pain In Anus Caused By Haemorrhoids

I ve been experiencing bouts of bleeding when passing stool for the last 3 months. Was diagnosed with an acute hemmoroid but still having issues. When I have a bowel movement it feels like tearing and rectum is painful and burns for a few days after. I have taken stool softeners and fiber and it will stop for a few days to a week and then returns. I am a 42 year old female. I have had an extreme bout of depression and have lost weight as well. Have been on treatment for depression for 2 months but weight hasn t returned. Should I be concerned with colon cancer even if there is no history of it in my family?

Hi thanks for asking question.
Firstly for hemorrhoids do following home based treatment.
Regularly continue to use high fibre containing diet.Drink more water.
Fruit juices are helpful.Avoid strain while defecation.
Stool softener can be taken if difficulty in defecation.
Keep anal area clean and dry.Sitz bath with warm water is helpful.
If pain is severe over the counter analgesic can be taken.
Your all symptoms can be aggravated if you take stress.
If by above measures hemorrhoids not subside then surgical hemorrhoidectomy needed.
You have no symptoms other then blood in stool.So chances of cancer very less.If still after treating hemorrhoid bleed start in stool , colonoscopy done to rule out other possibilities.
