Suggest Remedy For Rashes On Groin Area

Hi,Im from India. I m in my seventh month of pregnancy. I ve started having rashes& itching around my groin area & has reached the anus too. My gynac suggested me to use dermadew caloe lotion. Apparently this condition is common among pregnant women. On application it soothes. However, is there any permanent solution to this problem for the rest of my pregnancy as I feel the itching when I go out & am really uncomfortable right now.... Kindly suggest something soon

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be candidal intertrigo. You can apply Clotrimazole cream and clotrimazole dusting powder along with Loratidine tablets for itching. Wait for 2 weeks. If you do not get any response, consult your Dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
