Suggest Remedy For Problem In Breathing

Hi, over the last couple of weeks i ve been having problems getting a deep satisfying breath I feel like when I breath in I hit a wall and start to struggle to breath, I get pain in the centre of my chest and get light headed, I m currently serving in the military and usually extremely fit and run at least 8 -10 miles a day Thanks Gary

Thanks for your question on HCM. The symptoms you are describing like pain on deep breathing, hit the wall on deep inspiration etc can be seen in pleurisy (inflammation of pleura).
And pleurisy is seen most commonly in
1. Pneumonia
2. Pleural effusion
So I advice you to get done chest x ray first. If this is normal than no need to worry about this.
And central chest pain can be due to hyper acidity.
