Suggest Remedy For Pinching Pain In Neck With A Popping Sound
When I was younger I was told I have loss of lordosis in my neck from a few car wrecks according to MRI results, later foundd over time I am 37 yrs old and the pain in my neck is constant and I am experiencing pinching, I can hear and feel my neck popand when that happens its feels like a shock, the most uncomfortable feeling is now when my pain is more severe all the way up my neck into the back of my head. When should I see a specialists?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pinching pain in neck with a popping sound . Well there can be many reasons for eustachian tube dysfunction like upper respiratory track infection or post nasal drip . I would suggest you to :
- Take steam twice a day to relieve the congestion .
- Do warm saline gargles .
- Apply dry hot compresses to external ear .
Consult ENT specialist again to rule out causer like ear infection , strep throat and viral pharyngitis . Doctor may prescribe mucolytic agent , decongestant and antibiotics . In some cases doctor may also give tubes to relieve the pressure which is common procedure .
