Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
You seem to have inflammatory acne. Squeezing and popping is not going to help and may rather push it deeper.
If I was the treating doctor I would have started you on
oral antibiotics e.g either
Azithromycin Or Doxycycline.
As compared to topical treatment, Oral antibiotics are faster acting and more effective for inflammatory acne.
Topical treatment options include topical antibacterials like clindamycin gel, nadifloxacin gel; topical
benzoyl peroxide gel and topical retinoids.
Topical antibacterials and benzoyl peroxide are antiinflammatory; benzoyl peroxide is keratolytic as well.
Topical retinoids are comedolytic in action.
Oral retinoids are also an option for you. Oral retinoids are indicated for moderately severe to severe inflammatory acne Or acne resistant to traditional antiacne medicines Or acne associated with significant scaring.
When you visit your
dermatologist, your doctor will be able to assess the severity of your acne and guide you accordingly.
You may also opt for a few sessions of chemical peeling from your treating dermatologist.
Salicylic acid peel is particularly good for acne.
