Dear Madam,

Greetings!!
Thank you for posting your query at healthcaremagic.com

My advice would be-
1. hot water fermentation multiple time in a day.
2. Avoide one postire for long time
3. Sleep on firm mattress
4. Keep your back straight, maintain all 3 natural curves in your spine
5. Distribute your weight evenly on both hips
6. Keep your head and neck aligned over your shoulders
7. Sit back in your chair; your back should be supported by the seat back
8. Adjust your chair height so that your hips are slightly higher than your knees
9. Be sure your feet are supported by the floor or a footrest
Strengthening exercises:
Abdominal curl- with hip knee flex, lift the neck
Bridging exercise- hip knee flex and lift the pelvis
isometric of back- hip knee flex, put a roll of towel under the low back and press against it.
All the exercises to be done twice a day for 15 mins for hold count each positing for 10 counts.
Muscle relaxant will help.

If the pain is still not coming down I would suggest you get a MRI done to know extent of involvement in spine around region and consult a orthopedic doctor for further course of treatment.

I wish a speedy recovery for your husband.

If you require any further information please revert back to me. I will be happy to assist you.

With best wishes,
Tehzib Saiyed(PT)
