Suggest Remedy For Persistent Itching In Clitoris With Red And Burning Vulva

I have had an itchy clitoris for a couple of months. Been to my doctor. She gave me ketoconazole cream 2 %. She thinks it is fungal infection, but I get only temporary relief. It will take me 2 months to see a gynocologist. I can t wait that long!! I have redness around the vulva area, burning. My primary doc says to stop using a baby wipe as I might be allergic to that. What can I do? YYYY@YYYY is my email address.

Hi.Can understand your concern .As per your query ,itching and burning sensation in clitoris and redness is due to infection and the area has got inflammed..Avoid using body wash or general soap but mild intimate vaginal wash like v wash twice.wash it with cold or a bit chill water to reduce inflammation.keep the area dry by using dry and clean liners.Undergarments should be well wash as any soap residues left behind also causes itching. I hope the information helps you till you see a gynaecologist.Take care.
