Suggest Remedy For Persistent Earaches

For several days in a row I have been getting earaches in the morning (right side) which tend to be gone by afternoon. A month ago an ENT doc. took large pieces of dry wax out of my ears, and the right side was painful when he did it (and bled a while). Suggestions? Many thanks!

Hi,

Noted your history of earache on right side in the morning only which gets settled by afternoon, ear was cleaned a month ago by an ENT Surgeon with some bleeding too.
The timing of pain in right ear is morning only and gets settled by afternoon hence the cause may be related to dysfunction of Eustachian tube, deviated nasal septum, something in nose that causes this.
The wax will cause continuous pain irrespective of time of day and night.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult an ENT Surgeon again for ENT Examination, to watch for any nasal defect, Eustachian tube related problems, CT scan of sinuses and nose if required as these are not seen on endoscopy.
Once a proper diagnosis is done the cause can be treated effectively and get rid of earache.
