Suggest Remedy For Persistent Cough And Congestion
My granddaughter who is 22 months has been hospitalised with very restricted breathing and is continually coughing and spewing up has been discharged even though she has kept nothing down for 4 days. What is our best course of action and what can we do to help her to breath

Hi,
Having breathlessness and increased respiratory discharges should be of concern. Best course is detailed analysis and starting on antibiotics. For children, best treatment for breathlessness is nebulization with Asthalin and normal saline. Start treatment by oral antibiotics and cough syrup. anti-allergic medication should also be given.
