Suggest Remedy For Persistent UTI Symptoms While On Medications
I am a 55 year old male. I have never had a urinary tract infection. I developed one about 3 weeks ago and had a quick urinalysis test that I requested as I was in pain. It was positive and cipro was ordered as I am a pharmacist and thought that would take care of the problem but no definite bacteria was identified. I got much better. Thought it was over but the symptoms now remain but something has changed. I have not had any sex with anyone in months. Now when I void and my bladder has mostly emptied I get this rather large explosion of gas and urine at the end. My urine is cloudy unlike usually clear. And I still have a minor burning sensation each time I void. It must be anaerobic. Please advise.

Based on your symptoms I think you should get one ultrasound done to rule out renal or uretric calculi and also for any prostate enlargement which could cause your symptoms. Sometimes cystitis may also these symptoms. You can get repeat urine culture and sensitivity tests done. Thank you
