Suggest Remedy For Pain When Suffering From Diverticulitis

I have a hx of diverticulitis ..I am 62. Getting left lower quadrant soreness no increase in pain w/ bowel movement no temp no serious issues in last few years .also no fever. Feel slightly lethargic what is best antibiotic to take and should it be started immediatly?

I really appreciate your concern, without the infection anti-biotic should never be taken, in your case it does not seems infection as long as the given history is concern, still to rule out the infection you need to get done the blood test if found some infection then and then antibiotic can be administered else no need to have this, hope this information helps, take care.
