Suggest Remedy For Pain In Ribs And Nausea

Yes Please. I leaned over the back of my couch to pick up something(myphone) and in putting pressure on my left short rib under my breast, felt a "pop" associated with pain. This was 2 weeks ago. Still cannot lay on my left side, have pain with certain movements and feel like I can't breathe. Extremely tender to any touch, even gentle. I have felt what feels like movement on taking a deep breath or turning over in bed. Very painful and can make me feel nauseous. I have no insurance.

sorry, I didn't know there was a fee. I don't have any money just now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi...welcome to hcm...
To relieve the pain you could try analgesic cream like diclofenac gel or you could try short courses of tablets like diclofenac or tramadol.
But I would suggest you to have a check up at your local hospital so that you can do imaging studies and rule out fractures and other complications.
