Suggest Remedy For Pain In Arm After Injury To Shoulder

I fell on hard onto my shoulder skiing and it now hurts to move my arm, especially to raise it. it hurt when I fell. If I leave my arm folded by waist, much less pain. Should I travel home and go to doctor or do something now. I took Advil, although have not noticed less pain.

Dear patient
You have got trauma to your shoulder and it needs to be investigated to rule out possibility of fracture. Since your pain is not relieved by advise Xray is advised. Get Xray of involved shoulder with humerus anteroposterior and lateral views to rule out bony abnormalities. Visit radiology center nearby you and get it done. Visit expert orthopaedic surgeon with report.
