My husband had a hip replacement and was fine or a while but now he has a mass about 3 below the hip which swells up and gets very hard on the outside of the right leg below the hip replacement. He had blood tests order by the doctor who did the replacement and we were told the markers which should be 0 to 4.9 are 5.0 - he said the ions are fine. A cat scan was done as well as x-rays, but they want another doctor to look at those. My husband is so tire and in so much pain and we do not know what to do next. He has Stryker Accolade replacement.
