Suggest Remedy For Pain After Hemorrhoidectomy

I am feeling a lot of pain, having done an heamorriodectomy , but I ve taken the required amount of pain killers for the day. Namely: ParaCo-Denk 500/30 and I think the other is Diclofenac Sodium. Can I take some more of the ParaCo-Denk? And if so what amount?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

ParaCo-Denk 500/30 contains codeine which can cause constipation, difficulty in passing motion hence should be taken as less as possible. Ask your Doctor about alternative to Codeine. Continue Diclofenac. Take proper laxative. Foods and beverages which allow proper defecation. Follow the instructions as must have been given by your Team of surgeon-nurses.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
