General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Usually after Cortisone injection pain will be present for some till. It can last even for 2 days time. Taking Ibuprofen will be helpful. After 2 days this pain will subside and you will start getting relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad B. N., General & Family Physician
