Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to health care magic. I am Dr Alok Sinha, MD Psychiatry from India. I can understand your concern. I will try my best to answer your query.

Firstly let me explain you in detail the psychology of nightfall.

Nightfall is a very common phenomenon that occurs in males. It is more frequent in sexually aroused but sex starved persons. Night fall simulates a copulating act when a person in dream perceives as if he is having sex with someone. During the act the person usually has an orgasm and as a result he discharges semen. Soon after discharge the person gets awaken. This is an embarrassing situation associated with negative emotions of guilt, fear and anxiety. Normally soon after orgasm, the body gets relaxed and sleepy, but after nightfall due to negative emotions our mind take this relaxation of body as weakness.
If a person like you comes to my clinic I tell them to relax and to follow some non specific measures to avoid night fall. You may try it:-
- Have proper balanced diet, regular exercise, yoga, mediatation and adequate rest.
- Don't overexert yourself.
- At evening, listen some relaxing soothing slow music/radio.
- Avoid liquid including milk and water after 8 PM.
- Have loose comfortable sleeping cloths, avoid tight underpants/belts
- Dinner should be light, less spicy, and less oily
- Don't take much tea /coffee.
- Avoid watching porn.
- Put an alarm just before the usual time of nightfall for some day. This will make a rhythm and after few weeks you will be able to wake yourself up just before night fall.

If you still have some doubt, please personally visit a nearby psychiatrist who may help you with some medicines.

Hope it answers your question. All the best.
