Suggest Remedy For My Baby S Loose Stools After Being Weaned?

Hi, my baby is 5 month & 13 days old.i started weaning just two days before by health vister suggestion because my baby feel hungry & he awake at night 5 to 6 times after 5 month of age.before it he awake only once or twice in whole night for milk. bt after weaning he started loose motion from yesterday & it going on continuous till now.in weaning i just gave fruit ceareal & baby rice. now what should i do?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history it may be due to GI tract infection.

You can give him syp metronidazole twice a day, can give econorm satchel and ORS .
Still if he doesn't get relief then kindly consult a pediatrician for further evaluation.

He may procure complete hemogram and stool examination.

Till then keep him well hydrated, continue giving him ORS.
