Hello dear,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.If you have been precisely diagnosed as 'migraine',then there some cardinal points for management of migraine:
1)Avoiding of trigger factor- Migraine headache is usually precipitated by some trigger factors which can vary from individual to individual. These can be stress, sunlight, smoke, alcohol, food items like tea, coffee, cheese or chocolate. It is crucial to identify one's trigger factor and avoid it in order to prevent migraine headache.
2)Preventive therapy-Medicines like beta blockers, tricyclic antidepressants, anticonvulsants and calcium channel blockers can prevent migraine episodes. Please consult your physician so that he can start you on medicine which suits you the best.
3)Abortive therapy- Medicines like Triptans and Ergot derivatives are the main drugs to abort the acute headache episodes of migraine. Please consult your physician so that he can start you on medicine which suits you the best.

Severe pain in back, shoulder blades and the back of neck is atypical for migraine. However,it is still reported in migraine and stress headache. Please consult your physician so that he can examine you and advise you about this different pattern of pain, and start your anti-migraine therapy.I hope it helps.
