Suggest Remedy For Menstrual Cramps

Hi! I m 40 yrs old. I have 3 kids. I ve been having what feels like menstral cramps since this past wednesday but no period. The cramps started wed. night and I was really tired for the first few days. I m not as tired now. Also, the cramps are worse at night. I took a pregnancy test yesterday morning and it was negative. I m just wondering if it could be early menopause or something else. Thanks!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks for posting your concern on HCM!
I appreciate your concern regarding the abdominal cramps.
In absence of symptoms like dry vagina, irregular periods, hot flashes, bladder irritability, emotional changes the early menopause is unlikely.

Kindly consult your gynaec doc for the possibility of fibroids uterus or other problems.
Regards!
