Suggest Remedy For Lump In Vein

i was recently in the hospital for a bacterial infection in my blood when the nurse had put the IV in she messed up and it started to swell so they moved it a few days later my arm returned to normal but my vein seemed to be getting bigger and now it has a lump that is slowly getting bigger and traveling down my arm is this normal or should i see my doctor

* Thrombophlebitis
- apply ice for 3-4 times/day
- gently rub Thrombophobe ointment over the vein spreading from center
to periphery 3 times/day
- in our clinic we recommend to take antibiotics and anti-inflammatory
agents as per clinical evaluations
