Suggest Remedy For Low Testosterone Levels Post Leg Surgery

my question i suffered a leg injury on my left leg that required me to have 2 surgeries i had a tibia plateua fracture as a result of this my testorone level has dropped and i am suffering from erectile dysfunction i am considering receiving testorone injections to bring my testorone level back up do you think this will help me with my problem .

Hi,

Since you haven't mentioned the duration of time passed post surgery including other relevant details like complications and duration of healing. It is difficult to conclude whether the use of testosterone injections will help. However, post surgery serum testosterone levels falls in both both males and females significantly.

The levels start to slightly rise to almost pre-operative levels from day 3 onward. I suggest you to wait for a few weeks and retest the testosterone levels before considering supplementation of the hormone. Meanwhile, consider seeking medical counselling as the most common cause of erectile dysfunction is psychological.
