Suggest Remedy For Low Testosterone Level

Hello I live in red deer, Alberta, Canada. Im concerned about my testosterone levels. I lift weights and work the heavy bag for cardio, i watch my diet and im having trouble losing weight and building muscle, i seem to have lost my edge . My doctor ordered blood work and the results came back 264.5 pmol/L it is my understanding that normal range is 175-700 pmol/L. I don t want to be a d grade specimen stuck at the low end of the testosterone spectrum i want to be the A+ specimen up around the top end of 700. Help?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Don't use steroids in the gym because they can contribute to lower the testosterone levels. Also, as we age the testosterone levels get low. You need to test also LH and FSH levels.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
