Suggest Remedy For Low Grade Fever, Sore Throat With White Spots And Dizziness In A Child

My son has had a low grade fever for two days. He has a slight sore throat with white spots. He is also complaining of a stomach ache and dizziness. He has not eaten much. I took him to the walk in today and he tested negative for the quick stress test.

I have gone through your query and can very well understand your concern for your son..

As per your complain your son is suffering from Viral Infection and all the symptoms of low grade fever and sore throat and dizziness are due to viral infection..
As there are white spots , it seems most probably due to secondary bacterial infection..
But in case if strep test is negative, he does not need antibiotics..
You can give symptomatic treatment like Tylenol for pain relief and reducing fever..
In case of body aches Ibuprofen can be alternated with Tylenol..
Make him do warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in his room..
Chew a Vitamin C pellet..
Give him a soft bland diet and plenty of water..
Give him sufficient rest..
If the symptoms does not resolve in 4 to 5 days consult a physician and get him evaluated..
