Suggest Remedy For Loss Of Strength In The Right Shoulder

I ve been doing crossfit for 6 months and have noticed a 50% drop in my right shoulder strength. Initially, there was pain, but now no pain just loss of strength. I m right handed, and now can do twice as much lifting with my left arm and shoulder than my right. I ve previously had surgery on both shoulders years ago for rotator cuff and tendon separation due to surfing. Should I consult a orthopedic surgeon?

Hi,
You deffinitely need to see a orthipedic surgeon.
The fact that you are post-surgery is a risk factor, and that's why crossfit isn't recommended due to the intensity of work-out.
You may need to see a physiotherapist as well, and start some exercises to restore the shoulder strength.
Hope I have answered your question. Wish you good health!
