Suggest Remedy For Large Bump On Head

I have had 2 seizures. There was a large bump on top of my head. It was painful. So I popped I with a pin. What came out was a lot of blood. My boyfriend said it looked like a murder scene. It is gone now and does not hurt. Just wanting to see what you thought it was.

I can understand your concern for large bump on head.

You have not given us an idea regarding your age and related medical condition so that I could have helped you better.

I can get from your history that you tired to pop the bump and through that a large quantity of blood came out. It appears form your query that you had a "hematoma" formation. This could have happened trivially or due to any injury to the area.

I suggest you to not to pop the area again as it can get infected and can cause further complications. In case if you have any new bump then I suggest to seek a medical attention rather than doing self treatment.

If at all you feel any pain sensation then I suggest my patients to take paracetamol or diclofenac for once or twice daily.
