Hi Dear ,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have jaw pain with difficulty in swallowing which seems to be due to sore throat as it leads to irritation while having food and could be due to temporomandibular joint ( TMJ) dysfunction as it causes difficult chewing.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon for proper examination. Doctor may also check the bite plane and get bitewing and periapical radiograph done and will start treatment accordingly. I would suggest you to

- Eat soft food and avoid wide opening of mouth.

- Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain.

- Apply warm compresses and do warm saline gargles.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
