Hi,

Your husband is likely to have scrotal dermatitis and the protruded lesion would be sebaceous cyst. You take him to dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Dermatitis would be due to irritation or allergy to water, perspiration, soap, clothes or something other. Your doctor after thoroughly examination might prescribe oral steroid in tappering dose with antihistaminics like desloratidine and mild steroid cream to apply. The swelling may the sebaceous cyst which may be removed under local anaesthesia. It is minor surgical procedure done in OPD. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
