Suggest Remedy For Itchy Scalp With Skin Rashes On Forehead
Hello, For about a week now, I have been experiencing itchy scalp, then at the same time itchy back of my palms, and my last symptom is a red skin rush on my forehead, cheeks, and slightly swollen upper lip, not painful to the touch.Itchyness cames and goes, and seems to be more active during the evening hours. Previous night to the skin rush, I took an Aerius 5mg pill to help with the itching. For about 2 weeks, I have been also taking Profertil pills (2 per day) I am male, 49 years of age, and healthy in general.Thank you for any suggestions.Mike

Thank you for posting on HCM.
From your description its looks like you are having episodes of urticaria or hives, a kind of allergic skin eruption.
I would advise you to consult a dermatologist for proper management.
Usually i advise a long term course of various antihistaminics with or without corticosteroids.
Also, in certain non-responding cases various other medications like dapsone, montelukast, cyclosporine, omalizumab can be tried.
