I'm really starting to freak out. My labia minora has been itching for a while now, but I didn't really think much of it. Two nights ago, I went on a bit of a scratching bout and when I went to the restroom, I saw that the right side of my labia minora had swollen up--it was huge. I inspected the area and didn't see anything unusual, except for irritation where the itching generated. I used cortizone +10 to relieve the itching and a cold compress. The next day, I went to the wellness center at my school. They took a sample to check for a yeast infection and didn't see anything abnormal. Today, I realized that the skin on the right side of my labia minora near the end ridge is actually starting to peel off. What should I do ? Should I be freaking out as much as I am? Is there anything over-the-counter I can use?
