Suggest Remedy For Itchy Groin Skin
i have itchy skin in my groin region. it appears grey in color sometimes. sometimes the grey color spreads to my penis but usually just in my pubic hair and between my thighs. i live in a very humid tropical region and had started wearing cycling shorts most of the time because i noticed that my legs rub together less and it seems less irritated.
i am 39 years old, 5'10" and currently 205lbs. I have recently lost about 10lbs since i changed my diet to mostly fruits and vegetables. I am probably still around 15-18% bodyfat. I have had this itching for a long time maybe even a year. I was thinking about going to a doctor but since I'm living in China and speak little chinese going to the doctor is a sometimes arduous task

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.
After reading the query it appears that you have fungal infection of the area. You are quite overweight and obese as per your age and this is one of the big reason for fungal infection.
I suggest you to first of all reduce your weight which is of utmost importance. Wear cotton clothes and cotton undergarments. DO not wear any synthetic clothes.
In my patients with your kind of problem I prefer to give anitfungal treatment. I prefer to give both oral an topical antifungal in form of clotrimazole and terbinafine or fluconazole respectively.
For itching I prefer to give oral antihistamine such as loratadine for 1-2 times.
